Not a good service at all unless you want to do the work for them. My parents instructed them to handle the sale of their land and there were multiple delays throughout in which the director agreed with and assured this wouldn’t keep happening (even though it did). As I work within the profession, I took over communication from my parents side to ensure that the matter was being progressed and unless I constantly phoned to chase, nothing would have been done. My parents finally attended the office in which the person handling the matter shouted down the stairs rather than going to greet them and see them in a proper professional manner. Not to mention that they held up exchange and completion due to not checking the file off earlier and ensuring the necessary documents were held (ID and bank statements). Finally on the supposed ‘completion date’ they had delayed it due to the time they had set their file up and processed the payment. Therefore, although they were in receipt of the sale proceeds from the buyers solicitors, my parents did not receive this payment until after the completion date (they were meant to receive this via a CHAPS payment - same day). I am shocked by the level of service especially since I work in this profession and would stay away!

Updated: I am currently involved in ongoing litigation where Ubique Legal Ltd is representing the defendants. I believe the public deserves transparency based on what has already been officially submitted to the court.

In the defense filed by this firm, they completely omitted the name of the letting agent who personally arranged the tenancy and interacted with us throughout, yet that same individual is later listed as a key witness.

They also denied all knowledge or involvement in the deposit matter. Through a separate process led by another firm (Elara Legal), the landlord had to pay the full deposit + 3x penalty under the Housing Act 2004. That alone confirmed the deposit was unlawfully handled.

I really think these strategic omissions and contradictions raise serious concerns about transparency and professional conduct.
This review is based solely and entirely on court documents and my direct experience with this case. I’m posting this in the public interest, and I reserve the right to update it when proceedings conclude.

*Some matters aren’t shades of grey but questions of integrity and this one has already shown its true colours.

Since posting this review, further inconsistencies have come to light. Surprisingly the landlord’s original instruction to the agency was to formalise our tenancy, not to remove us. Yet the agency’s actions achieved the opposite, leading to avoidable costs, legal disputes, and reputational damage for everyone involved.

That makes it clear this was not simply a misunderstanding but a serious mishandling that harmed both landlord and tenants alike. Perhaps even more concerning, the landlord herself was listed as a witness in the agency’s defence despite never having given consent or even being informed of it. In any fair process, witnesses aren’t drafted like characters in a play; they voluntarily step forward to testify about what they actually know.

The only time the landlord was contacted by these solicitors was back in December, not to clarify facts or evidence, but merely to ask whether she intended to take legal action against the agency itself. That single interaction speaks volumes about where the firm’s priorities truly lay.

The idea that someone can be named as a witness without their knowledge or consent feels less like professional practice and more like creative writing.

I really appreciate the firm’s response. I want to clarify that while I’m not a client, my review is based on my personal experience as someone directly affected by the firm's role in legal proceedings. This review isn’t about pressure, it’s about transparency. And when the formal system offers no protection to vulnerable people, sometimes speaking up respectfully is the only option we have left. I am, in that sense, a consumer directly affected by the actions of this solicitor firm.

(All statements are based purely on evidence, honest opinion, and public interest, in line with the UK Defamation Act 2013)

I had an excellent experience with Ubique Legal. From start to finish, the service was professional, efficient, and incredibly reassuring. The Sunil kept me informed every step of the way, explaining everything in clear terms and always responding promptly to my queries. Their attention to detail and commitment to achieving the best outcome was clear throughout. I felt genuinely supported and confident knowing I had them in my corner. Highly recommended to anyone looking for reliable and expert legal support.

Mike Turner was an absolute lifesaver.

I was going through a nightmare situation with a tenant whilst being 8 months pregnant and tried calling a few places, just to understand my rights as a landlord. Every other company would ask for money to even check a simple form. Mike was a great human and a very knowledgeable solicitor.
He didn’t ask for a huge amount of money to share his advice, he did it for free and his fee for serving section 21 was also very reasonable.

He was reassuring and thanks to his great advice my case didn’t end up with a costly court case.

Thank you
