Be careful with this firm - my house move turned into a nightmare requiring another solicitor to fix. My experience relates to a previous firm (Leon Kaye), now closed, with the same personnel operating this practice at the same address. The conveyancing matter was handled by Lameeze Sasman and Mohammed Alyas. Errors included them giving the incorrect mortgage roll number to bank and insufficient communication, leaving us with a young child, a dog, and all our belongings with nowhere to go. Several required actions were incomplete, and we had to hire another firm to finish. Additional issues included service charge miscalculations and an incorrect Stamp Duty submission, which led HMRC to state we owed over £500,000 (later corrected by us). The former firm’s insurance paid over £6,000, including £500 in damages. This caused enormous stress, financial loss, and disruption to our family life. Based on my experience, I would exercise extreme caution when using this firm.

After a slow start and changes of staff not feeling involved and communication poor. We broached our concerns with Lameeze who then took on board what we said and took our file over with Alyas as well. Everything then completed changed with regards to communication and updates.
