In July, I became homeless after fleeing domestic violence. Unfortunately, Francis and his colleague Aghohgo demonstrated a lack of accurate knowledge of housing and domestic abuse legislation. They were also unwilling to listen to my concerns.

When providing legal aid services, there should be a basic standard of competence and a commitment to upholding fundamental human rights. Thankfully, I later found a legal advisor with extensive knowledge who was able to take over my case and provide the support I needed.

I would not recommend this service for vulnerable women seeking support around domestic violence, as the experience added further distress to an already traumatic situation.
