I am writing to commend Lesley, a solicitor specialising in housing disrepair without reservation. My story will I hope explain why.

My housing association landlord had over a number of years repeatedly failed to tackle a serious dry rot problem which was spreading aggressively and my home deteriorating due to their inactions.
Wether it was visiting to inspect, phoning me, arranging a temporary transfer or progressing work on site, they repeatedly failed to honour their commitments.

Their ongoing failures made me feel very much let down and highly stressed and this in turn affected my health.
I lacked the knowledge and confidence to tackle this very difficult complex housing problem on my own.
