My experience with Bowling Law and Mr Martin Real family lawyer was disappointing.

Throughout the proceedings, I felt that there was a lack of transparency and meaningful engagement with a number of issues I raised. Several of my emails seeking clarification remained unanswered, which left me frustrated and concerned about the level of communication.

As a litigant in person, I found it difficult to obtain clear responses to important questions relating to the case. In my personal experience, the communication and transparency fell below the standard I had expected.

This review reflects my own experience and opinion regarding the service I received.

We had a really bumpy process for buying our property in which the other solicitor was very slow and unpleasant to deal with, Henna and Ume were so quick to respond to the other side and helped me get the process done as quickly and efficiently as possible going the extra mile to help, their patience was admirable as I was losing mine.. shows their professionalism and dedication, thank you both and highly recommend their services.

Very bad service. I don’t recommend anyone to go here. They didn’t do a good job. I had to keep chasing them up. The 2 paralegals and solicitors I had were very lazy in their work and didn’t know what they were doing. I had to carry on chasing them and calling them. Very bad and I hope they close the firm. No help at all. I am disappointed and I don’t want anyone to go through what I went through.

I had a very bad experience with this solicitor company and would strongly advise others to stay away.

I instructed them only to sell my shop. During the process, the solicitor handling my case left the country without any notice. I received no email, no phone call, and no explanation. I only found out through the buyer’s solicitor, which was completely unacceptable.

At no point was a clear completion date communicated to me. There was a serious lack of organisation and communication throughout the case.

A new solicitor later took over and charged me an additional £4,000. I was later told this was due to an “error,” and although I received an apology, that mistake still cost me a significant amount of money.

On top of this, the amount I received was less than what was stated on the completion statement. I also had to wait four days to receive my funds after completion, despite paying a BACS transfer fee.

Overall, the service was unprofessional, poorly managed, and extremely stressful. I regret using this company and would not recommend them to anyone.

Excellent service received from Bowling & Co - conscientous, diligent and knowledgeable but with humour and empathy. Mohammed and Dilara have been such an asset to have on our side.
