We chose this small firm hoping for a more attentive and personalised service than we had experienced with larger conveyancing companies. Paul’s attention to detail is genuinely strong; he consistently identified issues that might have been missed elsewhere.

However, the way these issues were handled created significant challenges. Key decisions were made without prior consultation, leading to unnecessary stress, delays, and setbacks in the transaction. On three separate occasions, I had to intervene and request that we pause and discuss the approach before proceeding. A more collaborative, client‑centred style would have prevented much of this.

While Paul is clearly knowledgeable, there were moments where communication felt more opinion‑driven than professional, and the tone at times lacked the sensitivity expected in a service of this nature. Small but important details (such as using a wrong name in emails) added to the overall sense of inconsistency.

In summary, the technical legal work was competent, but the experience was undermined by communication issues and a lack of partnership in decision‑making. With improvements in these areas, the service could be far stronger.
