I would not recommend ZoeBloom. She didn’t take the stress out of the process, far from it she tripled the stress and tripled her original fee. I was misled & told my husband was hiding assets, which was untrue. They used tactics to confuse & undermine my trust in my husband & delay the process. Many good offers were made, earlier on some extremely good but ZB was didn't seem to show any enthusiasm saying that it only gives me this or that percentage 'but of course it was my decision'. I trusted ZB & was guided by her. As time went by the offers got smaller and smaller because the legal expenses were so high that there was less money to offer to me. An offer was made on the day of court and neither Ms Bloom nor my barrister sat down with me to even discuss it. It was regrettable that I trusted her and did not see through what she was motivated by. ZB did not prepare me for court & and what to expect. Not even a conversation. I was in for a shock. I was shouted at by the other side's barrister in the witness box. I could not string two words together and answer any questions such was the terror of the interrogation. I remember seeing ZB just sitting there with bored look on her face. It was very traumatic. There was no incentive for Zoe to get to the finish line efficiently even though she was aware that my mental health was deteriorating. Zoe did not demonstrate genuine compassion, honesty and respect, far from it. She didn’t take the time to address my concerns & questions. She was very dismissive and impatient. If something did not make sense to me, I would ask again. Zoe would become impatient, often get angry, I would feel uncomfortable. Long complicated bill estimates were sent which Zoe didn't keep to. Invoicing was chaotic and there were many mistakes and duplicate invoices which I paid & found later as they were not checked before sent to me. My strong wish to not use a barrister she recommended, was refused. I later I was told by another solicitor that this so called barrister she advised I use is known to as the bulldog - aggressive & as a result his poor advice early on derailed my case, making it drag on for a further year until I ran out of money. Zoe introduced me to LEVEL a legal lender: George Williamson whom she was extremely friendly with him. Due to a conflict of interest, I found another legal lender whom Zoe did not know. She was not happy for me to use my own legal lender and dragged the process to get my choice of lender board by making it very difficult, until it was too late, as we were too. I had no choice but to stick with her recommendation. Level,G.Williamson who has also left a 5 star google review was never a client of ZoeB. My case should never have gone to court. Her original estimate had tripled. ZoeB recommendations for a financial advisor were commission based on the introduction and any work they did that followed. This wasn’t disclosed to me.
I used this advisor and I was invoiced by ZB. If you are neuro-diverse, ADHD, dyslexic, don't expect ZB to make reasonable adjustments to help you better understand the divorce process, & billing. I was treated patronisingly and dismissed. I recall everyone including my barrister laughing at me when I was struggling to understand the financials. I questioned why the figures for the clean break was much higher than a previous barrister had advised a 2 years before. I had asked at this meeting the gain outweighed the costs to go to court, now I realise, the why figures were inflated to make it appear like it was worth my going to court when it clearly wasn’t. This barrister (Warsaw)then admitted ‘it wasn't worth going to court, but obviously you needed to go through the process’ thereby contradicting his own advice during the meeting where I was laughed at. I made the mistake of not trusting my instincts and it cost me hundreds of thousands of £'s and worse my mental health suffered as I was diagnosed with PTSD afterwards. No I would not recommend ZBloom.

From my initial consultation with Hannah Budd, she predicted the trajectory of my very complex case. Hannah was completely on point.

My divorce involved a £3m portfolio and numerous erroneous transfers from the other side. Hannah was quick to grasp the many complexities of my case and navigated me successfully into winning a 3-day preliminary issue hearing. I truly feel that if it wasn't for Hannah and her team it could have been a very different outcome.

Hannah was always honest in her advice and always kept her eye on the bigger picture and the end goal throughout our journey of 2 years. I would highly recommend BloomBudd.

I have instructed both Hannah Budd and Zoe Bloom. Both are exceptional lawyers with giant strategic brains and some of the best client care I have come across. They were always willing to listen and discuss any concerns I had and they went well beyond what I would expect in terms of how accessible and responsive they are. I always felt like I had a strong and wise team backing me. Both Zoe and Hannah always took time and care to explain things to me in a calm and clear way so I felt fully able to make educated decisions. I felt 100% supported by them and couldn’t recommend them highly enough. I was also assisted by other members of the BloomBudd team, such as Victoria, Justina and Kelly - I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Working with Zoe was the best decision that I made during a very difficult time. Her expertise and intricate knowledge of family law helped me to remain calm and positive. Her approach was an excellent combination of gentle guidance alongside constructive & productive advise and I would recommend her over and over again.

Zoe Bloom at Bloom Budd is at the top of her game and is considered one of the best family lawyers in London. She is incredibly down to earth and cares about her clients. She gets excellent results and charges sensibly. She also has very good access to the top Counsel in London. I work with Zoe both as a client and on a professional basis and I cannot recommend her more highly.
