I received direct communication from Vincent at this firm regarding my case about my cat's care at PetRepair Vets, and their involvement was very stressful. I had politely requested further information under a Subject Access Request (SAR), which is my legal right, after not receiving full records initially.

Instead of responding directly, the solicitor stated that their client had provided all necessary information and advised them not to engage with me further. This felt unnecessarily heavy-handed, as I had done nothing wrong — I was simply exercising my legal rights.

I had explicitly asked for confirmation of whether CCTV existed in the reception/waiting area. The solicitor did not address this question, instead repeating that the system did not cover consultation or preparation areas and that no footage from 21 October 2025 remained. As someone interacting with a solicitor, I would expect correspondence to be accurate, thorough, and attentive to the details of my request, especially regarding a SAR. The fact that this question was ignored felt unprofessional and evasive. I have since received a photo showing the CCTV camera in the waiting room. It left me questioning whether they were fully informed about what they were writing or whether they were being unclear and non-transparent.

Their correspondence also repeated statements about CCTV coverage that contradicted other information I had received, making the situation confusing and frustrating. Their involvement escalated an already emotional and distressing situation, leaving me feeling intimidated and overwhelmed. I hope they adopt a more transparent, professional, and empathetic approach in future cases.
