Received excellent service from the solicitor Sonia Bhola from Patch Law Solicitors regarding advice and sign-off on my redundancy settlement agreement. They were incredibly efficient, professional, and turned the paperwork around well within my employer's tight deadline. Sonia Bhola explained everything clearly, making a stressful process very straightforward. I highly recommend their services.

Highly recommend Patch Law.
Used them for legal advice on settlement agreement after being made redundant. Gillian explained the document and clauses and took time to follow up if anything else was required.
I would easily recommend them to anyone else in a similar situation.

Patch Law provided me with advice and support regarding a study cost repayment agreement contract that I was subject to. Alexandra provided me with clear and concise advice and drafted a very well written letter to assist with the negotiation.
If needed, I would certainly come to Patch again for any employment law issues.

Very disappointing experience with Patch Law.
I chose this firm based on a clear verbal assurance that reviewing my settlement agreement would cost £300 + VAT, particularly as I had already paid seperately for initial employemnt law advice and much of the groundwork had been completed. This was a key reason I instructed them.
When it came to proceeding, they refused to honour this and instead quoted significantly higher fees up to £500 + VAT. Despite explaining that I relied on what was agreed, they dismissed this and pointed to internal notes rather than taking responsibility for what had been communicated to me.
This left me under unnecessary pressure, especially given tight deadlines from my employer. Being told to “wait until next week” for clarification was completely impractical.
Overall, the experience felt misleading and poorly handled. If you are considering this firm, make sure every detail - especially fees- is confirmed in writing, as verbal assurances may not be honoured.

Sonia was excellent. Clear, practical advice on my settlement agreement without any unnecessary jargon. She explained everything I needed to know, flagged the areas worth pushing back on, and got it all sorted quickly. Responsive throughout and the whole process was covered by my employer's contribution so no unexpected costs. Would definitely recommend.
