So far my experience with Margaret Harvey is bad. She is very rude and abrupt. The lovely lady who was dealing with the case left and I was assigned MH. I have asked to make a complaint many times and she ignores it and carries on. Very unprofessional. I have advised her about 3 times verbally and in writing she has the wrong details for the dentist and she just carries on. She is quite threatening aswell when I have said I want to deal with a different person / company. She has also added on other costs as we go. Horrible lady and not good at the job either. No common sense at all.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but have felt compelled in this case due to the outstanding service received. Safia Anwar at AWH Solicitors was an incredible support during what turned out to be a very difficult house purchase. As first time buyers, she took the time to walk us through each stage of the purchase and helped us to feel at ease with her professional yet friendly manner. All questions, whether big or small, were explained in full. As an added challenge, we had a very tight 8 week turnaround to try and meet our mortgage deadline and she was extremely efficient; ordering searches well in advance, helping us to chase the seller’s solicitors and generally doing all she could to speed the process along. Safia was always at the other end of the phone and although she was probably very busy, she made us feel like she had all the time in the world for us, even staying after hours when we called late in the day. Whenever she promised to action something it would be done straight after our phone call or latest the next day. When structural problems were uncovered at the property and the estate agents became very aggressive, Safia helped us to put things in perspective, keep our cool, and find the best way forward. She truly felt like she was on our side, and went above and beyond to do all she could for us. For these reasons, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone that needs a conveyancing service.

Safia has dealt with my purchase and my experience was very good. She was always accessible, quickly responded to emails. I believe she did her job very well. The whole purchase process lasted less than 3 months. I am very happy and would recommend this firm.
