You have to give at least 1 star to be able to post a review otherwise they would be not getting any stars. I had 2 professional negligent solicitors from 2 different firms and a couple of years apart - the timeframe is luckily 6 years to sue a solicitor. I was asked for further information which I provided but they don't believe in getting back to you quick enough. I sent an email to the solicitors. A response came back from the person this morning who had originally asked for the info to say it was a complex area of law so couldn't do it under no win no fee but if I wished to pay a retainer then they would look at it. SCAM!! Beware. Wouldn't surprise me if they themselves put up the good reviews to make themselves look competent.

A horrible experience. It took six years for them to complete a simple negligent case. I should really file a negligent case on them as they just brushed my case under the carpet and completely forgot about me for years. I now understand why its always good to pay good money and never go on a cheapo. During the six years I had gone through 4/5 different case officers, they all quit because the firm is very unprofessional. I would not recommend anyone to this firm. I put in a case for a total of around 40k, I barley got 3k. very disappointed. Matthew its time to call it a day.

Not even one star for this firm. But I had to put a star down to get the post to work !
First enquiry I made was last June. A really sensitive issue as cases of professional negligence are. A big call for the layman to make in the first place.
Then eventually I received a request for further information last September. I replied with the information in October after the harvest. I then phoned to ask to speak to Chloe Gilbertson who was my contact. She never even replied to my call. I sent yet another mail then in November, asking if their non response indicated that they did not wish to handle the case, again no reply.
Unbelievable, Matthew Wilkinson himself may be the best thing since slice bread but the rest of his team, really !
Disgraceful

Matthew is an amazing solicitor. I have dealt with solicitors and barristers before on Civil cases but Matthew tops the list as the most articulate and competent solicitors and finds such points to defeat the other party's case which other solicitors often over look. Obviously, he is not cheap as one should expect to pay for high standard and expertise of the solicitor as well. But that's the only reason his fees - that's why I have not given him 5 stars. Otherwise, I would have given him 5*. I would recommend him especially, if you have a difficult case. Most solicitors wouldn't even take on difficult cases since, they don't have the expertise to deal with them. But Matthew will and defeat his rivals in his arguments.
