Parked for 11 minutes in 2022 didn't see the sign as was close to the sky.. I moved house and they could have found me at any point, I had letter 2025 at my new house and called and agreed to pay £35 parking fine was told they send a link as couldn't take payment over phone as wrong department.
I get a letter from county court may 2026 asking me to respond which I did in allocated time heard nothing. Got notification from clearscore june informing me a ccj was added I tried to trace who it was from and it was the parking fine one. I had nothing from anyone about it.. had letter 2nd July dated 22nd June giving me till 10th July to pay £160 and they remove ccj...
You cannot remove it once added its there for 6 years it will just show satisfied.

Unfortunately this company does not know exactly what they are pursuing charges for. They issue out letters demanding money without proper evidence in place and then pass it onto court. Very little understanding and does not want to hear what others have to say. The stars awarded in the reviews definitely reflect their customer service.

Parked in 2023!! The card machine doesnt work so I scrambled the cash to pay for a paper ticket, paid and displayed it... left within the allocated amount of time on the ticket. 3 months go by, I get a PCN... saying I failed to purchase parking, with an ANPR of my reg...which naturally I appealed because I paid fair and square. And their card machines weren't working (reading other comments it seems that this is their classic set up)... heard nothing back for 3 years!! I assumed I had won the appeal, as me amongst many other people that day paid in cash... so they must have realised their error...
How wrong I was! They wait 3 years, for enough interest to build up the slap you with a heavy payment and threats of a CCJ...

I spoke to a horrible aggressive lady on the phone (who hung up on me) but essentially theres no talking to them.. theyre threatening you for money... which it seems 99% of the time you don't owe...
I paid for my ticket?!

The absolute worst of humanity... will be attempting a complaint to the FCA in coming days. This is criminal behaviour.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Called to pay a fine I never owed. Pressed option 1 to pay the balance, but they chose to take a part payment and leave £20 left to pay. Have contacted them on numerous occasions as this has now left a ccj on my credit file that I can not remove. Had no reply’s and no returned phone calls . Their customer service is shocking

Just had a surprisingly good experience with DCB. Been fighting a parking fine for roughly 4 years now. I have been digging in as it was my ex partners car (just registered to me) any hoo, fine had gone up to roughly £400 and legal action taken. Tried to negotiate with them several times prior to no avail (I offered them £100, or £150 spread over 6 months, they stuck at £185 over 4 months) mediation appointment pending for tomorrow, I thought I’d give it one last shot as I didn’t want to spend 3 hours trying to mediate, also I have have the school run. Spoke to a lovely gentleman and after briefly confirming all my details, I offered £140, but split over 4 months, so £35 per month, and he actually agreed to a one off payment of £35 so the case could be resolved immediately and court updated of the case closed. Super pleased 😁
