Instructing Bartletts was the most expensive mistake of my life. Five long months to complete on a straight-forward, no chain sale. Absolutely abysmal on every level with mistakes, incompetence, forgetfulness and disorganisation every step of the way. Avoid at all cost! Mr Bartlett should be enjoying his retirement rather than messing up people's property sales.

Receptionist passes chinese whispers ..just a minute see what the solicitor says, hang on tell them that then.. to discuss your case. Not good my first enquiry, had better at home bargains on the phone. Went somewhere else got my case moved on within 24 hrs and accepted. Told I didnt have a case here but didn't get to talk to anyone other than the receptionist. Unprofessional not even discussed, dont recommend at all. Solicitor didn't get half my situation passed on im sure. Who does business like that?

I was hit by a car while working as a refuse collector in ellesmere port I went to bartlletts in chester, Frodsham Square, they were brilliant I was represented by a guy called Matthew I gave him the cctv footage of the accident and he immediately agreed to take my case now on my part I was pretty awful I missed appointments I didn't reply to letters and I got lazy about it but Matthew persisted with me and didn't give up he sorted all necessary checks appointments and they even took me to an appointment in Manchester as I didn't drive, four years later (would've been less if I didn't be so passive regarding appointments etc) I was offered £3000 first Matthew said the offer wasn't good enough and that we should keep going, numerous offers later I walked away with £8000 minus their fees, which in my eyes was amazing as I didn't break any bones, I suffered some muscle tears and cuts etc and some physiological issues for a while.

Bottom line they will stick with you even if your a pain and they will get results.
