We moved house recently, not an easy move with buyers pulling out of the chain, however the service, communication from Meredyth & Janet has been fantastic. Lots of insights & advice to make sure everything went smoothly on the things in our control, if you are looking to move I would highly recommend Bridgeman Kettle & will certainly use them again.

They handled our Right to Buy property and were professional, informative, and proactive from day one. It’s rare to find a solicitor you don’t have to chase, but they were always one step ahead and always there to answer our calls. They made our first-time purchase feel like a breeze! We would definitely use them again.

We were happy with the lawyer that wrote our wills in 2018. This year we needed to do changes on our wills. Contacted the company a new lawyer tried to do an appointment on certain data , but we couldnt go on that day. She then stopped the call and never called us back. We went to the office spoke with the secretary and she promissed to ask the lawyer to call us to arrange appointment. This never happened. So now we need to find a bew company and instead of just adding to the old will we need to do a bew one and pay a lot. Again. Very rude and unprofecvional.

This is the second time I’ve used Bridgeman Kettle for conveyancing — first for a sale and purchase a few years ago, and more recently for a sale only, which involved power of attorney. On both occasions the service has been outstanding.

What really makes Bridgeman Kettle stand out is their excellent communication throughout the process. In particular, Janet Atkinson (for Celestina Collison) was incredibly efficient, friendly, proactive and helpful — I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a smoother or more professional experience.

Buying/selling a house can be stressful as you have little control over what happens, add in an unresponsive solicitor who isn’t proactive and the situation is made ten times worse - I speak from experience having used an estate agent recommended solicitor in the past (first time buyer, I knew no better!). Not so with Bridgeman Kettle - they were proactive, quick to respond and kept me updated the whole way through.

I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to make the process as smooth as possible.
