I contacted Fitz to defend a default judgment taken against me. Between the can-do attitude of Mr Krishan and the (surprisingly) high rating in Google I believed I was in good hands. I couldn't have been more wrong.

The passionate start was immediately followed by radio silence, dodging, excuses and at times blatant lies. Each time I raised my intention to escalate in the firm I was fed crumbs that never mounted to anything concrete.

Fitz failed (miserably I may add) to deliver on any of their promises. In fact some of their promises were not even doable, as I have learnt from my current lawyer. Upon deeper dig into their record, I found a different picture, one that is closer to my disappointing experience.

I raised my concerns to the managing partner, who in turn, and consistent with their performance ignored my complaint. Then one day he responded to me, where he deflected, denied the facts and requested payment for an invoice that was never sent.

Once I acknowledged his email it became clear as day...the day prior my case started moving. I had to take the tough decision of walking away, at a critical point, because I have lost all trust in that firm.

I believe they expected me to panic and carry with them regardless.

Fortunately due to delays in hearings and lengthy court procedures I was able to fire Fitz before they inflict irreparable damage to my case.

P.S. Do not fall for their insistence that many issues are discussed in phone calls. It feels personable, but they were never minuted following the discussion (as other firms do). Then you end up in a scenario where you need to argue with your own lawyer on what was ever said or agreed.

Conveyancing Services - were reasonable they explained everything to me and the pricing was good.
I had an easy no chain sale, with 2 advisories so the whole process took 2 months from start to completion, so pretty easy service was completed.
