Poor experience all round, avoid this place at all costs. Was advised to ring the firm to get some legal advice so rang and explained the reason I require this advice. I booked a free consultation on Tuesday morning and was told they would ring shortly. Waited all day before ringing to see if I could get a rough idea of when this would be. Spoke with an extremely rude receptionist who dismissed me, interrupted me and then put me on hold whilst I was in the middle of answering a question that she asked me. She then told me she could not give me a time nor date and put the phone down on me. Then got a phone call Wednesday evening where I explained my situation and clearly wasn’t listened to as the man I spoke to did not understand the reason I was speaking to him particularly. Even though I had told the firm when booking the reason for my call and again tried to explain this when speaking to him on the phone. Unfortunately I did not get his name but he continued to undermine me and stated that I did not clarify information which I did, he continued to talk over me and he continued to speak to me in a very dismissive way. I am a young woman who had never had to deal with this type of thing and all wanted was some clarity on my case. I remained polite throughout the telephone conversation regardless of the way he tret me. But after being on the phone for 9 measly minutes of this pretentious man’s precious time he proceeded to bring the consultation to a holt abruptly and said ‘I have got to go’ and put the phone down on me. I may be a young woman but what I am not is stupid, I am educated at degree level meaning that I know full well when someone is attempting to undermine me and attempts to make me feel stupid. Law unfortunately is not my background hence why these services exist. Somebody at this firm needs to give there staff some lessons on human decency, respect and a change in attitude. But the minute a ‘free consultation’ is mentioned standard manners go out the window. Disappointed to say the least and would not recommend their services regardless of how desperate you are.
