Sue Lloyd at Hansells was very efficient at guiding me through the purchase of my property, very down to earth and approachable. I felt I could ask about anything I did not understand without feeling silly.

Having recently used Hansells for the sale of my shared ownership property, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Sue Lloyd made the whole process simple and efficient. As these matters do, especially being shared ownership, it took time from start to completion but Sue dealt with everything quickly and efficiently. I was kept updated regularly and if I ever had any queries Sue was very responsive and helpful.

Sue Lloyd and team were great at dealing with the sale and purchase for us in 2024. She set realistic timelines and the team were surprisingly responsive to emails which we appreciated a lot.

Absolutely shocking service from Hansells, absolutely no morals or integrity. After agreeing an offer for probate, they kept a property on the market. Whilst I have no legal recourse, as gazumping is still not illegal in England, you would expect companies to exercise some morality and agreeing a sale.

Only commenting as buyer of a property which was being sold through Hansells conveyancing service. There was initially no work done at all on the part of the sale solicitor for 7 weeks after receipt of enquiries. When communication occurred, it was incomplete and monosyllabic. We had to chase again and again for full details and updates. This was a theme throughout the transaction.

Whenever the solicitor was absent, nobody stood in or covered the work, which resulted in long delays to the process. Their client had no understanding of the conveyancing process, which can only be down to a lack of explanation from the sale solicitor and estate agent. Disappointing to deal with and therefore cannot recommend.
