It's a shame zero stars isn't an option. Avoid this firm at all costs. Nearly 3 years for a simple RTA. I didn't choose this firm it was linked to my car insurance. I submitted 2 separate complaints according to their policy and neither was knowledged or acted on. A really disgraceful company. If you have a choice run the other way, FAST!

Awful seems to be a common trend with New Law. It’s actually reassuring that other people are in a similar situation to me. My car insurance put me in touch with these in November 2021. We are now almost in August 2026 and the claim is still ongoing.

Even though I did a weekly email to them and phone call asking for updates for possibly around 12 months I’m still no further. New law sat on information for months on end, didn’t act upon my instructions and request, didn’t seem as though they had my best interest as their priority (even though they are planning to take quite a large percentage) and generally just seemed to rollover and accept everything without questioning even after raised serious concerns around things.

So pleased that the claim has now been sold on to another company who have done more in the past four days the new law have done in the past four years.

It would have been great to award a zero star rating.

I'm only giving one star because I can't give zero stars. I had an accident 3 years ago next month on a motorway, the other party admitted liability straight away. 2 and 1/2 years ago after all my medicals and the correspondence and I sent in my loss of earnings and everything. They ghost you. they leave you in the dark. they don't bother with you. you don't find out things unless you ring them up and they tell you the same thing over and over again. They are cowboys, a waste of time and now they tell me that they're shutting down and passing on the business to somebody else. I don't even know if the other solicitor's are no win no fee

Only used New Law Solicitors as that’s who my insurance company put me in touch with.

Obviously hopefully that I won’t ever need a personal injury solicitor again, however if I do, I would never use New Law Solicitors.

Really poor service throughout the entire process.

Barely fought for my behalf to get the most possible compensation, asked me for evidence, and then advised dropping portions of the claim due to insufficient evidence even though I provided exactly what they asked for and they didn’t ask for anything further to support it. If they had asked for more, I’d have been able to provide it.

I’m now being advised that if I wanted to provide more, it could take another 6 months. So I’m just going to drop it. But I feel I’ve lost out due to their incompetence.

They’ve acted in their best interest (closing the case sooner) instead of mine.

0 stars is not an option. 4 and a half years later and I am still waiting to be compensated. The last I heard, they were waiting for a court date to discuss it. More recently, I have been told they will no longer be handling personal injury claims and will be passing my case on to another firm. I have stated on two different occasions that I am unhappy with their customer service, both to which I had no acknowledgement. Furthermore, I have been told that this new firm may not even proceed with my case. Their communication skills are appalling and they rarely reply to emails. I was told to upload evidence via the online portal, yet I was contacted by email multiple times to provide this evidence again. They are absolutely useless and I genuinely believe people will be better off now that they're withdrawing from the personal injury market. Thanks for absolutely nothing.

Please avoid at all costs. If you're looking for an exercise in patience and persistence, this company excels at providing one. Communication appears to require extensive chasing, and a simple callback somehow took two months to materialise.

As for my payout, three years later I'm still waiting, which is an impressive level of delay by any standard. If efficiency and customer service are priorities for you, I'd suggest looking elsewhere and saving yourself the stress.

Unfortunately, zero stars isn't an option, though in this case it would feel like the most appropriate rating.

I’m now after 30 months fed up with being pfobed off with this company, told in aug 25 that the medical report (adendon) had been authorised and asked for and approx six months later finding out the fee had not been agreed, just 1 incident out of many costing months, by conversations on the phone i feel they really don't care about your accident, its just a means of making money for them. No bedside manner at all. Miss truths over and over. Im now at 2 1/2 years into my claim going through the Ombudsman. Had i had a choice i would never ring Accident Emergency help line & be referred to people like this
