I am extremely disappointed with the service we have received from this solicitor. Communication has been very poor — it is incredibly difficult to get through to them, and calls and messages are rarely returned. When someone you care about is in custody, you expect clear updates and proper support, but we have consistently been left chasing for information.
My boyfriend has now been in prison for five months on a stolen goods charge. All of his co-defendants have been granted bail, yet he remains in custody. It is very hard to understand why there appears to be no successful outcome or clear strategy in his case. We do not feel that enough urgency or effort has been put into securing his release.
Throughout this entire process, we have felt frustrated, unheard, and unsupported. There has been little transparency about what is being done, and it is extremely distressing when someone’s freedom is at stake.
