We appointed Kerry/Aisha to handle both the sale of our property and our onward purchase.

Communication was very limited in the first 4–6 weeks after instruction, and there was little visible progress despite information appearing to already be available from both sides. On a number of occasions, we were told via estate agents or the buyer’s solicitors that they were waiting on responses, even though we had already provided the information requested.

Once we began chasing regularly, things started to move forward more quickly.

I also found the timing of emails frustrating, as they were often sent at the end of the working day, which delayed responses by another 24 hours. Acknowledgements were also typically slow, though this improved slightly toward the end.

Overall, the process took around five months, which felt long for a straightforward sale and purchase. I also felt the level of guidance and proactive advice was lacking compared to other conveyancers I have used.

While the transaction was completed, I would not use this firm again for conveyancing.
