Avoid this awful law firm! Our seller used them for conveyancing and although we weren't direct customers of theirs, we're gobsmacked by just how unprofessional they are. Key 'highlights' include not replying to our solicitor for several months, despite being chased. Refusing to use email and instead posting all correspondence to the wrong address with no FAO name. Delaying the exchange which jeopardised the entire chain. And last, but not least, reducing my girlfriend to tears when we went to their office to collect the keys. We had been told by the estate agent to collect our new house keys from their office and that they were 'happy to hold on to our keys for several weeks'. My girlfriend went into their office on our first day in Scarborough and was shouted at by some angry man who was stood below an enquiries sign! Just awful! 'Making people cry since 1886'

We were kept updated at every stage of our purchase, we were given clear and helpful information and felt that we could approach Evette with a question/query at any time.
