After answering a desperate plea for support, following a failed experience with an on-line conveyancing company, our house sale was handled by Sanita at the Nottingham Office. We found Sanita very helpful and reassuring after a stressful experience to the start of our sale journey. On our first meeting, Sanita said she would remove the stress from the process for us, and indeed she did. Sanita was a joy to work with; friendly, calm, informative and supportive. I have dealt with and trusted Geldards Nottingham many times over the years for very important matters. Now however it's almost impossible to actually get through to the Nottingham branch and to actually speak to someone there, this never used to be a problem. It is now the case of being answered by a main switchboard in Wales who then pass your details across for them to contact you. I am not impressed with this, and neither with the person I spoke to at the answer service who couldn't and wouldn't give me any named contacts or details of relevant senior partners / departments despite this being an urgent matter relating to something vital which has been overlooked and not sorted thoroughly and properly some time ago.
Not helpful, professional or straightforward.
Update: Someone from Geldards has now contacted me and will hopefully help to resolve the outstanding issues.

I went to these for help. They didn't tell me they was charging me and never did even when I got there or I wouldn't of gone!! Also was charging me for the person that was sat in the room (also didn't tell me)
Now I have £800-£900 pound to pay for nothing! Poor and unprofessional!! And just out to take vulnerable people's money!! More then 5 times I said I can't afford to just yet but hoping to save to have a solicitor!!

I struggled to find this as it is in the city and I’ve never been before but there is ample parking once you’re there. It is near a tram stop so public transport is an option for those that don’t drive. Very professional and polite staff welcome you as you enter the building. The solicitors are down to earth and make you feel at ease as soon as you start talking to them.

Needed to get help with some identification documents and they were amazing. Very helpful especially at short notice. Brilliant.
