Very terrible, useless and unprofessional company, I dont know how this is apparently the best law firm in the country because how has my solicitor sent this law firm a letter before action on 28/05/2025 expecting a response within 14 days by 11/06/2025 and then on the last day of the 14 days gerldards asked for a 28 day extension to give a final response ontop until the 9/07/2025. No response was given and my solicitor chased them up for an immediate response on 14/07/2025 and gerldards claimed they would respond by 16/07/2025 latest. This did not happen and we received no response. On 17/07/2025 I proceeded to make a claim with small claims court for circumstances where a vehicle was sold to me in an illegal condition. Gerldards decided to respond on 30/07/2025 which is 50 days overdue from the initial letter before action. The defendant also made false allegations and claims which gerldards are running with, I wouldnt trust them to run a bath tub. If u need a solicitor i would avoid this one because it is AWFUL

The firm seems to be faceless, do not return phone calls (7 made with no response to one of their Paralegals) and getting a response over email like getting blood out of a stone. Zero common courtesy. There are better, genuine firms out there so keep searching!

Looked after by Bridget, 100% genuine and very nice. The receptionist was also very helpful, chatted, and made us feel welcome. Overall, they kept us updated and answered emails within hours, not day/weeks. Would definitely recommend this firm above all others. (NOT TO BIG FOR THERE BOOTS)
