Claire Hodges was brilliant while dealing with a transfer of deeds and a new property purchase. Especially given the circumstances, she, Beth and Helen made it as smooth as possible and answered any questions I had. Recommend highly!

I would strongly advise anyone to avoid Horsey Lightly Solicitors. They handled the administration of my stepfather's will, and the entire process was a nightmare from start to finish. At a time when we needed support and clarity of direction, Horsey Lightly turned it into a drawn-out ordeal that lasted years, with no clear reason or communication.
The fees were extortionate and completely disproportionate to the level of service provided. For example, they billed for new staff who were appointed to investigate complaints who never gave any feedback or input and promptly left the business. Also, they were more concerned about protecting their fee than taking instruction which would have minimised the debts of the estate.
It genuinely felt like we were being bled dry at every opportunity, with constant delays, repeated mistakes, and zero accountability.There was no empathy, no urgency, and certainly no expertise on display.
Losing a loved one is hard enough—entrusting their legacy to this firm only made it worse. I wouldn’t wish our experience on anyone.

Helped me out with an urgent legal witness signature requirement..my solicitors couldn't fit me in for a week ...everyone was so pleasant and professionaly efficient..I will use them again in the future for sure.

I had to contact them several times over my genuine concerns before they replied.
When they eventually replied i received a very abrupt unprofessional email.
In my opinion "not professional" .
September 30th 2020 : I have sent you further emails regarding my concerns that you have now stated that you have no records of me ???
November 10th 2020: After the firm responded to my review and stated 'They would be happy to assist me'
I emailed the firm with my genuine concerns. Unbelievably I was finally instructed not to contact the firm again unless I had a solicitor to act on my behalf.
In my opinion this is not being happy to assist me.
Not helpful
Not professional.
