Please do not make the same mistake as I did and get a duty solicitor which was recommended for me at the police station. Due to this duty solicitor I was remanded in prison and she informed me she would appeal for my bail. She did not. My whole life had turned upside down and I was left in prison for 4 weeks with no communication from her. I then received a letter through my cell door saying that my own duty solicitor thinks I’m guilty and I’ll be looking at 12 years. During this time my mother got in contact with Tony who was highly recommended, he confirmed a meeting straight away and he was fighting my court case for my change in solicitor which was a very long process. Within the first week of me being in prison Tony had already gone above and beyond within this time looking at my case and had a video call link with me and reassured me everything would be fine. I felt so relieved that someone so genuine and caring is taking on my case. As soon as I had the transfer of solicitors, Tony and Richard had a massive impact in the process of me being released on bail just a few weeks after.
