I used Magrath Sheldrick LLP earlier in the year and the service I receieved was fantastic. Pricing was competitive but actually turned out to be super value for money. I would defintely recommend using them.

The assigned solicitor wouldn’t respond to email on time and would send a response towards the end of the day. They advised to go ahead for a full ILR service and later asked me torevert back stating I have a discretionary application. Today my ILR is approved by seeking the support of a different solicitor service.
Felt the team lacked expertise and proactiveness.

I do not recommend this company at all. They are very irresponsible. The quality of their service is unbelievably low and lack of professionalism.

Excellent - highly recommended. They are professional, knowledgeable and responsive. Save yourself the uncertainty and hassle and use these guys. Kamilla in particular is great.

I would never recommend his services to anyone a true disgrace a scammer , The landlord [ Mr Allen Fowler] recommended this firm MaGrath & Co Solicitors which became MaGrath LLP now trading under new name MaGrath Sheldrick LLP still one and the same person/s.

[ at the time a local firm were charging £375 plus Vat for the same service]

On recommendation from Mr Allen fowler that MaGrath were a good firm of solicitors, they acted in the old name MaGrath & Co in a property transaction he agreed a fixed price of £850 plus VAT for his fees to obtain the business.

[ A fixed-price contract is a type of contract where the payment amount does not depend on resources used or time expended.]

MaGrath understanding of a fixed price means grossly overcharging in double billing scam abuse of the way in which pro forma invoices are used such as send them out After he takes money from the client account claims to have done some work sends out a pro forma invoice After not Before the event,

MaGrath done this as soon as he came into possession of the deposit for purchase of property, he thought it was his and protracted the completion of property for almost 12 months

During this period he manufactured a debt over pro forma invoices in another matter in defence of a bogus claim, made an unreasonable request for payment on account of £13,000 I disputed the amount he was asking, he agreed with the other side [ the claimants solicitor ] that each party pay their own cost and discontinued the bogus claim made against his clients [ the defendant to bogus claim ] made up a false allegation against everyone of refuse to pay to terminate the retainer and took himself off the court record, not to recover cost from the other party in making a final pro forma invoice to his false allegation of refused to pay.

MaGrath in making untrue false allegations against clients as on completion of the property transaction he held clear funds to have paid against his own proper invoices at the time but failed to do so he waited around for five years to get cost certificate and force payment of pro forma invoices and charge interest on them, the money held on account went towards his cost in the assessment of his bills

none of his bills were reduced as he got the court in making assessment of bill in one year and another bill for the same service five years later .

His accounting procedures are so complicated to understand where he allocates the money against a pro forma invoices or proper invoices, i will never find out.

[ a pro forma invoice is not a true invoice because it is not used to record accounts receivable for the seller and accounts payable for the buyer.]

MaGrath Pro forma's are worded "THIS IS NOT AN INVOICE" at the foot of the page in small print, but MaGrath passes them on as if they are proper invoices when they are not

MaGrath in making money disappear from the client account against pro forma invoices [ he told the court that they were advise of invoices when they were not , he accepted these were not better than letters ] but MaGrath went on in making entries of pro forma invoices into client accounts in making money disappear and got himself a Final Cost Certificate In making

The paid proper invoices to become payable

meaning you pay him , he takes your money and five years later claims his has not been paid and forces you to pay him again

MaGrath got a hand out for himself of £7,306 cost award for his errors in accounting, and inflated cost upon cost and more cost and charged interest on his pro forma invoices

To date I never got a proper account

and has now come to light, as result of his accounting an over payment has been made to him over £4,000 this amount is unaccounted for, after paying over £17,000 for his bills of cost , to act in property transaction and defend against bogus claim the liability to Magrath was around £5,000 ,

The matter was reported to SRA, they turned a blind eye, best thing to do not use his services
