I found the company very helpful and reasonably priced was given an appointment the same day .

I was represented by the apparently now closed Cambridge office. Initially, service was great as provided by Cailan Thomas. Then I was informed that Cailan had left the company and I was transferred to other staff.

From this point, it was completely abysmal. I don't think I received a single unprompted update without me chasing for it. And I was being told by the other party's solicitors that they were unable to reach anyone for days/weeks. Which was hard for me to dispute, given that that was my experience chasing for updates too.

The estate agents that were selling the property we were buying suggested Hunt & Coombs as acting on our behalf. Why not we thought 🤔. Have to say, from the outset they have been excellent, professional and totally dedicated and focused on us as clients.
This has been an extremely stressful process for us but our Conveyancer, Amanda Atkinson and her secretary, Karen have been there for us all the way. Amanda has encouraged, listened, advised us throughout without faltering in her professional capacity.
When you have a great team like this on your side it's encouraging.
To be honest, the fees we were charged are pitiful considering the sheer amount of work, the rules and regulations they now have to adhere to and as such, based on our experience with Amanda, Karen and Hunt & Coombs we have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending them for your Conveyancing should you need their professional advice and help.

Amanda A at Huntingdon branch was incredible. I was selling a joint owned house with an ex whilst then trying to buy my own property, and Amanda was my acting solicitor for the purchase. If it wasn't for Amanda I don't know how I would've managed to get the sale complete due to the sales solicitors being so poor and inefficient. After 8 months of chasing the sales solicitors, and some poor communication from them, I was left in a sticky situation with potentially being homeless for Christmas! Amanda worked her magic and managed to prevent this happening, which I am so incredibly grateful for and I cannot thank you enough!

Amanda would chase where necessary, and was always acting in my best interest. I was fully informed of the process from start to finish, and any questions were answered and explained. Amanda sat and went through contracts and leases with me, and then had created a separate document to explain this in simple terms. Communication was excellent and consistent.
