When I first met this solicitor at the police station, I asked him how much prison time the offense I was alleged of carried. Instead of answering, he told me I should "look it up myself."

furthermore he said I wouldn't be granted bail and would be held on remand. I asked him how I should look up sentencing guidelines while I'm in a cell on remand. He had no answer and no practical advice. He just shut it down.

To make things worse, in court, he got many details of my case completely wrong. It felt like he hadn't reviewed my file properly. I lost confidence in him entirely.

I would not recommend him to anyone facing criminal charges. You need someone who knows the law, listens to you, and gets the facts right in front of a judge.

Receptionist is unfortunately a female Allan partridge. Solicitors on the other hand seemed professional I'm quite disgusted at this treatment and being fobbed off, it was a different story when it was making money for her and the company.

They did a great job selling our tricky leasehold flat and buying our new house in an extremely busy period (SDLT change deadline on 31st March 2025). The thing we really valued is that they had not taken on so much work they couldn't cope like so many other conveyancing firms do. The service was personal and always very professional and thorough. Most importantly they responded to emails and phone calls quickly which was such a huge improvement on our experience with other compainies.

There was a small oversight which stalled the sale process early on but the team admitted to it immediatley and then did all they could to recover from it to keep things on target once they realised what had happened. What more can you ask for?!
