Zahrra Ali contacted me after I contacted them about a pedastrian injury. After we clarified when the accident happened and asked for all personal information, she then asked for my evidence. Then I received an automated message that Zahraa Ali was unavailable for a month. Despite this, 1-2 days later I received a message that they would not take my case. When I asked her to explain why they would not take my case, Zahraa Ali replied: because my accident was a long time ago. So my accident was a little over a year ago. In addition, I have documented everything related to my accident, and the permanent damage caused by the accident is also being investigated. So, if you have already asked for the date of the accident, and they will not take the case because it was a long time ago, then do not ask for the evidence.

Before responding to a review on behalf of Zahraa Ali, I would recommend that you read the correspondence and then the personal, confidential information and documents requested from me. My problem is not general and each person's problem is individual. Before contacting your office, I sought advice from another law firm who reviewed my documents and wrote that I would need to hire multiple lawyers who could communicate with each other and share information with each other, and that I would also need to attend multiple court hearings.
They listed the following lawyers as needed in my case:

-Civil Litigation lawyer
- Police Negligence lawyer
- Medical Negligence lawyer
- Accident lawyer
- Solicitor Professional Negligence lawyer

So if they don’t want to take on a case or are unable to represent the client to the best of their ability, they should say so, and not reject the client after multiple correspondence describing all the problems, requesting personal, confidential information, documents, or any other excuses.
To assess a case, whether they can represent the client, it is not necessary to request personal, confidential information, documents.

Mr Ashton handled my recent personal injury claim against Spring Grove School in Huddersfield in a very competent and efficient manner. Despite them originally denying any fault or blame his persistence and professionalism ensured I eventually received the compensation I was due. I would have no hesitation in recommending the services of Grieves Solicitors and Mr Ashton in particular.

Extremely disappointing solicitors whom I would never use again. As a warning to others, they will take on your claim only if you have a very high chance of succeeding (which we knew we did). At the start they say they are prepared to go to Court for you if necessary. However we now believe they had no intention whatsoever to take it to Court. As the claim proceeds, they instruct their chosen (supposedly independent) barrister, whom, out of the blue, and to our complete surprise, decided that the chances of the claim succeeding were low and we were advised against taking it to Court and to accept the first offer. After much disagreement we rejected the defendant’s derisory offer to this solicitor's increased annoyance at not putting the matter to bed quickly so he could take his costs and run. Going against their advice worked as we were, unsurprisingly to us, offered a higher amount as we knew we had a strong claim. We are not convinced that their chosen panel barrister (and other experts) are as independent as they would like us to think. Their business model is set up to guarantee a 100% win win for them. They have no intention of taking your claim to Court as they will tell you at the beginning of the claim.

The service has been brilliant from start to finish and I am extremely grateful for it. I was initially in two minds whether to go for a claim and had no experience in this area but from the start Helen was extremely helpful and reassuring.
