Needed help with making a spouse visa application as there was some issue with the date. THARANGA, the solicitor assigned made big promises about getting the visa
I asked him about the value he is going to add and his response was making big promises. I could very well make an application myself but because of some issue with the duration of marriage needed additional help.
I used to make frequent trips to get the file before making an in person appearance at Home office. Tharanga refused to give the file citing it is still being made.
Even on the night before the appointment, i went to his office and sat until 8 PM but he still refused to hand my file stating that its not ready for my appointment next day at 8.30 am.
He said he will send someone with the file in the morning who will also assist us with the application.
I asked for that guy to be sent early so we can look into the file to see what Tharanga had prepared and familiarize us with its contents.
But this guy came just before the appointment. I quickly looked through the file and all he had done was a covering letter stating that we are making a dependent application. I could have made that covering letter myself which had nothing of importance to help with the application.
As expected, the application got refused.
Tharanga misled us into believing that our application could be successful. He also gave us lots of mental trauma during the application. I hope he realizes its not the right thing to play with people lives and money.

Very unprofessional solicitor. I had to chase them to do there work. I had to even call the court to see if they had received the paperwork. Could not even feel the form correctly made mistakes. I would not recommend them to anyone sorry.
