Under no circumstances use Majorlaw for probate .
They inflated their bill to more then four times the amount shown on the website.
For an estate that was very close to the example .
And they spun the work out over several years
Having complained to the SRA who found major law failed in several areas of professional conduct.
And the legal ombudsman who found against them on several service related points and proposes a fine
The firm,s excuses for such short comings were down to staff training and failures in office procedures..... astounding since it's basically a one man band with a secretary,and a paralegal and has been in business for more then 40 years.
They have been investigated multiple times and found against on multiple times .
Take your business elsewhere and save yourself a lot of grief .
For my friend it's a little late as she died in Sept 22 and still the issues are not resolved
