My remortgage process with KR turned into a nearly year-long ordeal, largely due to poor case handling at the start.

The initial handler, KC, was extremely incompetent — key steps were missed, communication was poor, and as a result I lost out on a buy-to-let purchase opportunity. This caused significant financial loss and unnecessary stress.

After KC left (unclear whether they were reassigned or dismissed), a new handler took over and was much more competent, but by then the damage had already been done.

I returned to KR based on previous experience and recommendations, expecting a smoother and quicker process since I had originally purchased the same property through them. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

The delays and mismanagement had a serious impact on me, both financially and personally, contributing to a very stressful and difficult period.

Overall, a deeply frustrating experience. I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution.

Don't use Andrew Kingston he tells lies. After being told that all bill are up to date i got hit with a £1500 bill for work that had already been done.Hugely expensive not worth the money at all. Complete rip off

Sadly we cannot recommend the Probate Department at the Farnham office. Errors in paperwork and missing forms lead to at least a six week delay in the code- and it’s only because we visited the office (unannounced as we were reminded of on a few occasions!) that the error came to light. Our complaint was constantly belittled despite explaining our circumstances. Communication was extremely poor- by email and phone. Do not use them!

Ian Edwards was the most attentive Solicitor I have ever met, his detail was amazing and responded to any email or phone call within 1 working day, amazing service from start to finish.
