We would strongly advise others to think twice before using this solicitor. What should have been a straightforward estate matter following a bereavement ended up dragging on for nearly two years. Communication was consistently poor—we were often left chasing for updates, with long periods of silence and little transparency about progress. Deadlines were missed, and explanations, when given, were vague and unhelpful. The only time they did email was to send an invoice for payment.

To make matters worse, our interactions with the receptionist, Louise, were extremely unpleasant. We found her manner to be consistently rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. However, the lady on the reception desk was very pleasant and helpful, massive thank you to her.

We expected a far more professional, compassionate, and efficient service.

I instructed Andrew Botham in the middle of 2025 and, while my case is still ongoing, I am very happy with the service he has provided so far. Andrew has been professional, responsive, and clear in his advice, which has given me confidence throughout the process.

I was supposed to have a call from Andrew today at 4pm. It's been booked in for over a week and he never called. I took an hour off work today to have the appointment and I just think it's really poor. If that's how he manages his time and devalues mine, I'm not interested in pursuing his services.

Brought a chain free house that should of took between 6 weeks and 3 months maximum and it took me over 5 months. I did not recieve my keys until just before the estate agents closed either I had to constantly ring up asking for updates
Absolutely useless! I would not recommend these. I had interior doors delivered to my house expecting my keys alot earlier in the day to put the doors inside and they were soaked and needed chucking! I also had to turn my painter and decorator away!. Messed my whole joyful moving day experience up.
