WINDER TAYLOR SMITH

I was searching for a solicitor which deals in family matters and having Googled for a firm winder Taylor fallows came up, I checked out there website and sure enough it stated that they do indeed deal in family matters, but on phoning the receptionist informed me that they do not deal with family matters as the solicitor who use to do it had in fact retired twelve months ago, if a solicitors office can't be bothered to amend and update there website what hope is there for future clients!?? Not exceptable!

They weren't my solicitors but felt I should leave a review as they were the solicitors of the buyer of my house. They forgot to send the searches/misplaced them for 4 weeks all the while informing the estate agent and my solicitors that the searches hadn't returned yet. I understand mistakes can be made especially when they were probably short staffed and working from home due to the pandemic but I dislike the fact that they didn't even acknowledge that they did, we only found out to the the buy informing us. Around the time the buyer told us that the searches she'd paid for hadn't been sent off straight away they became unresponsive to the Estate agents emails (which was unlike them) and then a few days later gave a date of expected return a little over a week away.
As said, I know mistakes are made I just found it ignorant and unprofessional that they didn't admit and apologise that their mistake put the sale back by a month and cost me money and further stress.

Great service at a very reasonable price. Would certainly use again.
