I thought this firm was a little different to all the other law firms and protect my rights in court and help me. Instead my situation has been made worse by a solicitor who was a nervous wreck in court and let the prosecution and magistrates ride roughshod over my rights and now I have a jury trial without even being given the opportunity to plead guilty or not guilty. The guy they sent to represent me reminded me of the jittery lawyer in the film My Cousin Vinny. I gave this firm all the information and evidence that they needed to easily get my charges dismissed, but of course this is not how the Justice system works. It's all about money. I would say this firm is absolutely useless in criminal matters, but I don't think there is any law firm that will represent you fairly and robustly unless you have very deep pockets. Absolute disgrace. If I could give a minus score I would.

Philips solicitors have represented me for over a year and a half. Throughout this time I have been consistently supported on a professional and personal level due to the sensitivity of my case. This was mainly by Nicola and Louise who have always gone above and beyond for me.
No phone call or email was never unanswered. Both ladies have helped me get through a very tough time with their genuine kindness and professional guidance and knowledge.
It is from the bottom of my heart that I thank these ladies, nothing was ever to small or unimportant that I could not ask for advice and support on.

Phillips are a waste of time and space. The complaints procedure is already well-known and ineffective.

From the start, I sensed an agenda. Myself, already famous and well-known to the police I knew something was happening at the police station. Neither the police nor solicitors wanted to protect my rights, even considering using the correct part of the law. I asked Paige to get CCTV footage from the gym showing the woman and her associates following me around like a “lost puppy”. I also asked for statements from witnesses and a further statement from a woman I was formally intimate with. It turned out the opposing party are all associates and know each other.

I was threatened and defamed by the alleged victim. She admitted all this and even stated she’d been paid £100 to talk to me and admitted searching me online. Neither the police nor Phillips have investigated or questioned any of this.

For months, I’ve been stalked around a gym by the staff and members. One member confronted her in a sauna and called her a “stalker” Because of what she said to me “seeing me all the time at the gym”.

I repeatedly asked for an abuse of process application, which was ignored. Finally, I had to remove Phillips and take legal action against Phillips, the police and the CPS.

Paige was never available This caused frustration with applications and charges being dropped.

Since advising Phillips to get statements, the police have further tried to abuse me by telling me I’m perverting the course of justice! If Phillips had obtained this statement, it could have prevented me from being arrested by the police. The reason the statement, disclosure and CCTV hasn’t been finalised is because a woman I was intimate with, knows the alleged victim. She witnessed the other woman’s behaviour at the gym. I had to instruct another solicitors firm who has done exactly the same as Phillips, proving an agenda. Chat GPT does a better job than solicitors, especially if you’re knowledgeable already.
Stay away and make sure you record them.

Isobel Weston is an asset to Philips Solicitors. She is going to go far. Isobel represented me at Clowne Police Station in July 2024. She is very astute, well educated and knowledgable in the law. She helped and supported me so much with my case. Which was dropped against me later thank you to Isobel. I would trust her again and again with any other legal matters.
