and greedy experience with this firm was profoundly disappointing. I contacted the office seeking urgent guidance regarding the HPLA Scheme in connection with an emergency court hearing. Unfortunately, the individual I spoke with appeared unfamiliar with the nature of my enquiry and made little effort to seek clarification from a colleague or review my previous contact with the firm.

As a disabled person with autism, I explained that I communicate differently and required patience and understanding. Instead, I felt I was spoken to in a dismissive, patronising and demeaning manner. I was accused of being rude and was threatened with the call being terminated, despite simply trying to explain my urgent circumstances.

I also found it concerning that I never received the promised return calls. At a time when I was seeking urgent legal assistance, I felt unsupported and unheard. The interaction caused me considerable distress, and the stress exacerbated my existing medical condition.

I expected professionalism, courtesy and an understanding of the needs of vulnerable clients. Regrettably, my experience fell well below those expectations. I sincerely hope the firm reviews its approach to client care, disability awareness, communication and the treatment of those seeking urgent legal assistance.
