Do not put your fate in the hands of these people,
You would be better off defending yourself as that's what I am now left doing.
No due diligence carried out to help my defence and the solicitor they provided was 2hrs late for court.

We have recently had some property gifted from our grand mother. I have never known anything or anyone harder to deal with than this solicitor(lorraine). Although now fees are payed and we are waiting for proof of ownership we have never once met the solicitor dealing with the properties! We made 2 separate appointments with her to pay the fees and were told one day she had gone home and another day the Internet was off so she had gone home (nobody contacted us to tell us this). Once payment was made we were told 6/8 weeks for the land regestry to update and they would let us know, 12 weeks later and now after we have contacted them, we are now told it will be another 6/8 months!
Really, really hard to deal with and I would avoid at all costs.

Had the unfortunate pleasure of purchasing a property of which Miekles were acting as the sellers conveyancers. Incredibly slow to respond to any queries, that's if they answered at all to either us or our solicitor. The worst part was our completion day when they somehow managed to lose all communications via both email and telephone without letting anybody on our side know this, they had no backups at all including not even any mobile phones! They only got in touch once our solicitor was proposing raising them as in breach of contract due to the delay so truly a terrible solicitors I'd avoid at all costs!

I was recommended Meikles from good friend and what an excellent service they provided. The work load was massive, for a trial that ran 22 weeks, these guys were professional and thorough and the advice was first class.
I ended up with a good result because of the hard work they put in behind scenes so I would highly recommend Meikles 100%
