Disgusting service. I was literally told off by the assistant for asking questions trying to understand the process. This made me afraid to ask anything even though I was vaguely aware of what should happen when. It then turns out that I wasn’t even sent the lease until AFTER I had transferred my money- a massive mistake on their part. Huge. It could have had MASSIVE implications as I have a pet and the lease mentioned pet restrictions. Nothing was explained and I was just made to feel like a nuisance. Incompetent and rude at the best . I would never recommend them nor would I use them again.

We instructed Wilkinson Woodward on the purchase of our new home, our previous solicitor has since retired and we were appointed Nadine. I would happily recommend Nadine and Wilkinson Woodward to anybody looking for a conveyancer. Nadine communicated at every stage what was happening and what was required from us or the seller. She also communicated with the sellers solicitors ensuring the agents were copied in and informed at each step too. Nadine was easily contactable and I would recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell their home. Nothing was too much trouble and we have now completed on our new home in two months. This is the third time I have used Wilkinson Woodward to handle my conveyancing, specifically Melanie Leadbitter. I wouldn't consider anyone else, she is simply the best!
In the latest instance we completed on a complicated leasehold apartment which I was selling within 10 weeks of accepting the offer, amazing.
She and her team are super quick to respond to communication, explain things clearly and get on with the job in hand, I honestly can't recommend her more highly.
I havn't had cause to use any other specialist here but based on my experiences would not hesitate to do so. Many thanks.

We came to Wilkinson Woodward when our previous solicitor unexpectedly closed. We were extremely close to completion and we had to start again. Our case was picked up by Dan, and he was incredible. Responded quickly and efficiently to every email. Progressed our house purchase and was just amazing. He managed to get us into our dream house in a very tight timeframe. He constantly chased the chain and provided updates.
Honestly, Dan and the team at Wilkinson Woodward were incredible, and I will be recommended them to anyone who is looking for solicitors in the Halifax area!
