Where do I even start with this company? 😤 I instructed them to handle my divorce, and a whole year later, they tell me it’s all filed, everything’s done, and I’m officially divorced. Feeling relieved, I meet a new partner and we start planning the big day 💍. Obviously, I’m divorced, so no issues there, right? Wrong. When we went to the register, I was told I’d need paperwork to prove my divorce. I ring them up, and they say the paperwork was sent to me on 12 May 2022 📬. I went through all my paperwork and there’s absolutely nothing. They then say they keep records and will send me a copy – great, brilliant, 100%, must’ve got lost in the post maybe.
So off we go, full steam ahead with wedding plans – you know how bloody hard it is to organise everything, get everyone to turn up, book the right venue, pay out 🥵. Then, three weeks before the big day, I find out they’d forgotten to file the paperwork altogether! As a so-called goodwill gesture, they’ve given me £500 💸, which is something, but I’m still not divorced. They sent an email in December with paperwork to sign which I never received. No word for three months, so I call them, only to get the most useless, rude guy ever who cuts me off mid-conversation 📞🙄.
Now, I have to go into the office to sign the paperwork – wouldn’t it have been easier to just call me earlier? Unbelievable. And now I’ve been told it’ll be weeks before my divorce is final. What a bloody joke! Their communication is shocking, they say one thing and do the complete opposite. I wouldn’t recommend these solicitors to my worst enemy 🚫. I’m stuck with them until my divorce is sorted, and guess what? I have to delay the wedding and replan everything all over again. Absolutely bloody ridiculous. 😡💔

Honestly, this has got to be one of the most unprofessional solicitors I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with in my entire career 😡. They forget to file important documents with the court – which is absolutely dreadful. They tell you something has been done, only for it to turn out it hasn’t 😤. They even misplace paperwork, leaving you to scramble about trying to locate it or sort it out yourself. For a solicitor, if I were you, I’d just pick up and move on because you clearly have no bloody clue what you’re doing at all. The managers? Rude beyond belief. When you speak to them, they don’t provide any proper clarification on what’s going on, and you can end up hanging around for three months with nothing done 🤯. I’ve sent emails, yet they haven’t even bothered to ring me to chase things up. Absolutely terrible service. Honestly, the worst I have ever experienced in my entire life dealing with solicitors, and I would 100% not recommend them to anyone 🚫.

We used Fylde law to buy our home last year. Service was excellent. We had Ashley Fisher who was brilliant. We never had to chase anything. Very good at dealing with the bizarre requests from our mortgage company. Would highly recommend.
