My younger brother died and I was unable to deal with his funeral, his property sale and everything related to dealing with a deceased person's personal effects and estate.The heir hunters who contracted me suggested the local branch (local to where my brother lived in Durham) of Taylor & Emmet LLC.
I contacted them and they were more than willing to assist in every way possible. They arranged the funeral, arranged for his house to be cleared and the gardens cleared prior to putting the house on the market. They arranged the sale, did the conveyancing, searches and so on and got a very good price for the house. Dealt with utilities, tax, a vulture who wanted to pick over his belongings, all the usual stuff and some not so usual matters. They did so professionally, swiftly, with compassion and dealt with any questions I threw at them, even when what I was asking was silly.
The costs were kept to a minimum, seriously inexpensive when compared to an estate other solicitors dealt with for my late mother.
Being mainly housebound due to ill health they were an absolute Godsend in the way they managed to make me feel comfortable with the way they dealt with it all for me. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone/everyone who I beleive would also get a good service.
Whilst I would like to single out several of the staff for thier exceptional service, including dealing with my up and downs brought about by grief, I feel that everyone who assisted within the various branches of the company were all great and that they all function well as a team.

They were so helpful and prompt. Very reassuring when the proverbial hits the fan!!!
