I sold a house through Taylor & Emmett in Sheffield and would say that I got average service at a premium cost. This was a sale only to someone with no chain and all the way through the process I felt that they only did something when I chased them. One example is that they sat on sending out the contract pack to the buyer as they needed something from me but only told me when I rang to ask for a progress update. This was not necessarily a big issue but more the level of service that I would have expected from a cheap no frills online conveyancer and which meant I had to drive the process. Also, they requested additional documentation to be sent to them 2 days before exchange which should reasonably have been asked for at the start of the process, and which was nearly a problem as I was away on holiday the next day.

SHORT AND SWEET
I always use Stacey Crane and Wendy Welburn. Have done for years... Both are great at what they do.
Helped me purchase my first home with ease!
We had some issues with the sellers side as there solicitors were useless! Wosskow Brown at Gleadless office! Don't get me started on them!
But anyway.. Both Stacey and Wendy remained professional and always kept me in the loop as soon as anything happened.
I have the keys to my new house... We've started decorating and it's an amazing feeling!
