Recently sold my house with this solicitor. unfortunately I did not have a good experience at all. Selling a house is stressful enough without having to constantly chase your solicitors. On numerous occasions they wouldn’t reply to emails. Initially organised a completion date that later got retracted which caused a 6 week delay. They wouldn’t pick up the phone on numerous separate occasions when I telephoned however if telephoned seconds later on another telephone number which wasn’t my own or dialled with 141 they would pick up instantly which suggested to me they were ignoring my calls. The gave me a completion an incorrect break down statement but forgot to include the estate agent fees which I think is awful and it took myself to question the difference after recieving the money before they informed me of this. Communication is terrible and unfortunately I wouldn’t use again. Moving house is stressful enough without constantly having to chase your solicitors for information which was mainly wrong.

Do not use this solicitor
They do not reply to emails or phone messages and try to baffle with "legalese" in order to avoid paying their invoices
After months of no response from them the threat of legal action finally prompted them to pay

They have been dealing with my mother's Power of Attorney for about 2 years, I never get updates or replies to emails, shocking service.

A very poor experience of this firm. They made fundamental mistakes with first a power of attorney, then a will for an elderly relative. The documents were not checked and it took almost four years from the death of my relative to resolve the matter. It was only resolved with the help of another firm, a barrister and a judge. The documents created were never checked and senior solicitors oblivious of the mistakes when working with the will for probate. The senior people I dealt with were arrogant and dismissive. In all a terrible experience. I can only assume, from the positive reviews posted, that there are now new members of staff who are more competent. I have never received an apology for the mishandling of the case, and doubt I ever will.
