Consistently Excellent Service from Aldridge Brownlee — Across Two Transactions

I’ve now worked with Aldridge Brownlee Solicitors on two separate property transactions — one in 2022 and another more recently — and their service has been consistently outstanding.

In my first transaction, I was supported by Alexandra Kirkpatrick, Associate and Chartered Legal Executive, who was incredibly helpful throughout. Her calm professionalism, clear communication, and attention to detail made a complex process feel smooth and well-managed. Alexandra’s guidance gave me confidence at every stage, and I was very grateful for her support.

For my most recent sale, I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Owen Baker (Partner Solicitor) and Shelley Evans (Conveyancing Assistant). Their teamwork was exceptional. Owen brought strategic clarity and legal expertise that kept everything on track, while Shelley’s responsiveness and organisational skill ensured that the process ran efficiently from start to finish. Really poor experience with their conveyancing when purchasing a property. I had high hopes following recommendations, unfortunately Aldridge Brownlee did not deliver and they made the process of buying a property even more stressful.

The main issue was incredibly poor communication and often no communication. I highlighted this to them but they were full of excuses and zero accountability

The conveyancing itself was poor. Key details missed or did not make sense, which I had to clarify myself via the estate agent as my solicitor refused to follow up. Completely unacceptable

Unfortunately I can’t recommend them, and would advise that you avoid them

The third time we have used Sarah at the Aldridge Brownlee Winton office and yet again we couldn't have asked for anything more.

No matter how many times the goal changes, as is often the case with house moves, Sarah was always on hand to help quickly and efficiently. We would always happily recommend to any of our friends and family and will certainly be contacting her again for any future property cases

We have used Aldridge Brownlee (Winton) a couple of times for support with amending deeds and also the purchase of a property and they have always been outstanding in their work! Lee Hooper has been our solicitor both times and he has been fantastic to work with, very down to earth and reliable. But all staff here are friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this service and will definitely be using them again.
