I have recently brought a property from a seller who was using John Fowlers LLP as their solicitors, specifically Kim Kennedy.
The communication with my solicitors was extremely poor and they had to be chased until the day before completion for documents that were being requested for weeks - this left us in a very vulnerable position.
Kim also made a number of requests that were simply not following the house buying process order and had to be called out a number of times. You would think solicitors would know more about the house buying process than a couple of first time buyers but apparently not.
The emails exchanged between Kim and our solicitor also had a very snarky and unprofessional tone to them which is completely unacceptable.
In Kim’s words I’m “bemused” that this company has such great reviews since we had such a horrible experience dealing with them.
