UNSWORTH ROSE (SOLICITORS) LLP

Abysmal, atrocious, awful.

These are just the words beginning with the letter A I'd use to describe this firm.

We waited approximately 8 months to get a license to alter so we could carry out building work on our flat, because Unsworth Rose's solicitor - the counterparty's representative - engaged in the process with such tardiness and lack of care, that it was getting to the point of willful obstruction. At one point we considered legal action.

Months passed with no response to our own solicitor's repeated emails. When they belatedly responded, Unsworth Rose's solicitor's first draft of the LTA was so full of errors it looked like a copy-paste from another job.

We finally agreed the LTA and it was signed by all parties, but then new conditions kept being raised by their solicitor before they would issue the notice. Our building work start date went past and weeks continued to go by, with more administrative points and questions being raised by their solicitor, often with about a week passing before the next round of questions and followups. This was despite the LTA itself containing all the provisions necessary to protect their client. And for all this while WE were on the hook for their fees!!

A total shambles and embarrassment of a company and service.

Avoid, unless you do not value your time.
