I hired Sutherland & Co Law in January 2023 for a very simple Deed Transfer form. I was assigned a solicitor. I expected this to be done by February or March while I was still in the country, which was perhaps unreasonable of me, but there was no money being transferred, it was literally just a case of signing the paperwork to a family member. Over the next SEVEN MONTHS my case was passed from the solicitor to a trainee, then back to the solicitor, then to the trainee again who forgot that she was on the case originally and asked me to complete payment that I had made months prior. Reading back through my emails, they did apologise for this but the mistake suggests a total failure of internal communication or bookkeeping. I also lost count of the “out of office” emails I received whenever I tried to check in for an update.

Quite possibly the most unprofessional time I've had with a solicitor. Just my two cents based on my personal experience with them!

I cannot rate Sally and Leah and the team at Sutherland and co enough, amazing service from start to finish, very prompt always on the ball. So friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble.
