I had a very disappointing experience with Consilia Legal. It turned out to be a complete waste of time and money. I was paying significant amounts for over a year, including costs related to matters I later found out I was not even properly subject to.

There was a clear lack of consistency and professionalism. What the solicitor communicated in emails often did not match what was reflected in the court orders, with key points missing. This caused confusion and, ultimately, no meaningful progress in my case.

I also requested proof of the work done against the invoices charged, including correspondence and a breakdown of services, but did not receive a proper response. This raised further concerns about transparency and billing.

After more than two years as a client, the outcome has been extremely frustrating. Despite the high fees, nothing substantial was achieved, and the situation has only become more complicated, especially with recent court developments.

In my opinion, choosing this firm was a huge mistake. I would strongly advise anyone dealing with a family matter to carefully consider other options before proceeding. Based on my experience, I do not feel the service justifies the cost at all.

I would not chose to use Consilia Legal for divorce mediation if I had my time again. We had three sessions with them (and thousands of £), and the only thing that got decided was who wanted what furniture from the marital home. What was frustrating, when me and my ex couldn't agree on something, rather than provide a legal framework to help us work it out, at the end of each session, we were told to "sort it out in the background". Honestly, if it was that easy, we wouldn't have need mediation in the first place.
Overall, a waste of money and time, and a poor experience (ironically, this was something that both myself and my ex could agree on).
