Dan prepared a comprehensive legal pack for our SaaS platform launch - Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Partner Agreement with schedules, Data Processing Agreement, and Acceptable Use Policy. He took the time to understand the technical architecture, including AI features and multi-tenant data handling, and delivered documents that were thorough, eloquent and well-structured, also proportionate for an MVP launch. When we suggested an additional clause around partner data controller obligations, he incorporated it quickly and tied it into the wider agreement seamlessly. Excellent value, clear communication and didn't blind me with legal terms but instead explained everything in plain English with genuinely practical legal advice. Highly recommended for tech startups and SaaS businesses.

We've worked with Dan for several years now, and he's helped us navigate legislation in the UK regarding skill-based sports and ensuring we're compliant when it comes to UK iGaming law. Dan is more than just legal counsel, he's an honest man who will go the extra mile for us (and I'm sure all of his other clients). I look forward to working with Dan over the course of my career. There is nobody I would go to except him. If you are an early stage start up like us, I cannot recommend his services and expertise enough. Thank you, Dan!

We came into contact with Dan Johnson through a case related to a third party company (which we have no influence over). In addition to not understanding why he is punishing us with his online opinions, I was able to make the following observations:
Dan got emotionally carried away and started threatening, which is unbecoming of a legal entity and not professional at all.
He also testified with several statements that he doesn't understand the world of the internet that much.
I don't recommend his services because, look at the examples: he chooses a more problematic solution to achieve his goals, which doesn't necessarily work...

Dan is by far the only lawyer I would go to with all my business queries. He is very quick to deal with all types of problems and communicates very effectively. He is a fantastic advisor and has helped me in many scenarios. He truly goes above and beyond for his clients. I highly recommend him for anyone with a small or large business looking for a professional legal advisor.

Update: A year later I needed another legal advice and Dan as usually was very quick to respond, found time in his busy schedule to help and gave his highly professional advice, including recommended who else could be helping me. I came out of meeting with lots to think about. Also, Dan went out of his way to offer as much cost effective option as possible to returning client (us).
I found Dan when I "googled" online for a solicitor to get an advice for my business. I had trouble finding "the right" person after couple of telephone calls, the previous solicitors seem to me not experienced enough to be able to confidently provide me the advice I required. I have approached Dan and his Equitable Law firm, which I believe he owns and I was very happy to get quick appointment for 1 hour free consultation first, where I (and my husband) found majority of answers (advice) to our enquiry free, but of course we needed it also in writing, so Dan also offered very attractive price for his services and we were happy to instruct him to write us a letter of advice he gave initially verbally. The letter was written very quickly and provided for our review before the final signing, which we really liked as we had an opportunity to check whether the letter covers all the details we needed it to cover. There were few more questions we had after the draft letter, so we inquired if Dan could clarify those and we were pleasantly surprised, that Dan provided another good 50 minutes of his time for free to explain over the phone every question in detail, so by the end of the call we had no further questions and the subject was very clear to us. Dan was very quick to respond and arranged a call within a day! I We did not have to wait, which is amazing as many of us know: usually it is at least a week waiting time to get any high quality service in the UK. To conclude: we both were very impressed with the value for money for a high quality legal service we both received from Dan and therefore we can recommend his services without a doubt. As we understand he is very experienced in commercial/business/corporate law, but we are suspecting that his experience is far broader than that, so just check his website and talk, Dan is very nice, open and fun (we loved his sense of humor) person to talk to. Good luck!
