I cannot recommend Kingswell Watts Solicitors based on my experience with them acting for the buyer of my property. What should have been a simple chain took over four months due to their lack of responsiveness. Communication was consistently poor, with appalling reply times that caused significant stress. Most shockingly, they failed to request funds until the actual day of completion. We spent the final day in complete limbo, not knowing if the sale would even go ahead due to their negligence. Their handling of this transaction was unprofessional and caused avoidable delays. Avoid if you want a smooth process.

This was second time we used them to purchase a property. The first time everthing went fine as it was an auction property most of the done by the auction in the legal pack. The second time oh my days took almost 3 months. The communiction was realy bad you would ring up be told the person dealing with it is on lunch they will ring you back but for two days no callback and you would ring back again be told he isnt in office today. Then they added £350 on top of the quote they gave us. Wont be using them again.

Would definitely not recommend this firm. Used them for commercial conveyancing earlier in the year. A straightforward transaction took a lot longer than it needed to and was only done in the timescale it was because I was constantly chasing up. Zero communication from them.
More alarmingly we have since discovered that £3.5k we paid that was to be sent to a third party was not sent and we have had to pay that again and I have been trying to get out money back from Kingswell watts for 6 weeks now.
All my recent emails and complaint to senior partner have been ignored.
I have now raised the issue with the SRA.
