They seem to think that protecting their client means they can pressure everyone else into accepting whatever they want, as if their client’s interests automatically take priority over everyone else’s rights and positions. That is not how a professional or balanced legal process should work. Every party involved has legal rights, interests, and boundaries that must be respected. At the same time, a solicitors role is to protect and finalise their client’s interests professionally, not allow the entire transaction to collapse because they refuse to work within reasonable boundaries or cooperate constructively with the other parties involved.

Cherise and her team carried out the conveyancing work on my late mother's property. It was a probate sell, so this made the process a bit more challenging.
I very much appreciated the weekly update calls that I received from a member of the team. I wasn't having to chase; they called me with updates.
As we approached the exchange of contracts, Cherise always made herself available to speak to. One time I needed to speak her right at the start of the day, as I needed prompt answers. The evening before Cherise answered my email and we arranged to speak at 8:30am.
Emails were answered promptly. Many regular items were handled by a team member, as it wasn't necessary to contact Cherise directly for many day-to-day items.
